LinkedIn says over one million users clicked its "Seems like AI slop" button
LinkedIn reports that more than one million users have used its "Seems like AI slop" button to flag AI-like posts, and the platform now shows 40% fewer views on content it classifies as AI slop compared with a few weeks ago. The company added improved AI classifiers, removed an "enhance your post" AI feature, and will notify authors when members flag their post as seeming like AI. Fake LinkedIn job ad sought 'Group Chief Executive Officer' for ING Deutschland
A fake job posting appeared on LinkedIn for several hours, allegedly seeking a "Group Chief Executive Officer" for ING Deutschland and receiving 25 applications within the morning. ING said the ad had neither been commissioned nor authorized, reported it to LinkedIn as abusive and it is now offline.
