The board of directors of Kursaal Bern has appointed Jonas Scharf as the new CEO; he will succeed Kevin Kunz, who will retire at the end of April 2026 after ten years in the role. Scharf (b. 1968) brings nearly three decades of leadership experience in trade fair, congress and hospitality sectors, served as COO of MCH Exhibitions & Events and managed sites with revenues exceeding CHF 50 million as well as large projects such as a CHF 400 million construction programme.
