Heraeus is divesting its subsidiary Heraeus Remloy and is selling the business for reprocessing neodymium-iron-boron magnets to Canadian mine developer Mkango Resources. The move is part of a portfolio reshuffle that will have Heraeus focus on precious metals, health, semiconductors and its industrial business. The proceeds are intended to fund a possible acquisition in Germany, investments and feasibility studies at sites in the UK and Germany, and working capital.
