Moberg Pharma has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with Karo Healthcare to market its onychomycosis treatment MOB-015 (Terclara) in 19 European markets, including the United Kingdom. Karo will handle marketing, distribution and sales in Europe; the deal includes royalties and payments for supplied products, but financial details were not disclosed. The territory covers about 500 million people and includes 11 countries where Terclara is already approved but not yet launched. MOB-015 is a topical terbinafine formulation with a reported mycological cure rate of 76% and will, where possible, be marketed under the Lamisil brand; Karo is backed by KKR.
