Mosaic Biosciences has introduced Renuvis Enzara, an enzyme product based on endoglucanase designed to accelerate the breakdown of crop residues. The product is intended for application in fall or spring, is compatible with fertilizer and herbicide applications, and is formulated for continuous corn, no-till/reduced-till systems and conventionally tilled fields following high‑yielding crops. 2025 field trials showed improved residue breakdown as well as better emergence, stand density and uniformity in corn and soybeans. Mosaic is curtailing phosphate output in the U.S. and Brazil due to global sulfur shortages, with Louisiana fully idled and some Florida sites at reduced rates. The company expects third-quarter phosphate sales of 1.1–1.4 million tons and realized sulfur costs of about $700–$710 per ton, while guiding DAP FOB prices to $820–$840 per ton and stripping margins to remain above historical averages. S&P Global Ratings has changed Mosaic’s outlook from stable to negative and affirmed the issuer rating at BBB. The agency expects the operating cash flow-to-debt ratio to fall below 20% in 2026 and projects adjusted EBITDA of around $1.6 billion (vs. $2.6 billion in 2025). Drivers are sharply higher sulfur and ammonia costs and supply bottlenecks from the Persian Gulf, after which Mosaic curtailed production and now expects negative free cash flow of $400–500 million for 2026.
