National Fuel Gas filed a legal opinion from law firm Scarinci & Hollenbeck as an attachment to its existing S-3 registration (Exhibits 5.1 and 23.1) with the SEC, without disclosing any additional financial or business information. Previously, the company reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of $1.54 per share (expected $1.42) on revenue of $537.5 million, which missed expectations. El segmento de Transporte y Almacenamiento presta servicios de transporte y almacenamiento interestatal de gas natural a través de un sistema integrado de gasoductos en Pensilvania y Nueva York; y posee y opera yacimientos subterráneos de almacenamiento de gas natural. Este segmento también transporta gas natural para National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, así como para otras empresas de servicios públicos, compañías industriales y productores de energía en el estado de Nueva York; y posee y opera el Empire Pipeline. El segmento de Recolección construye, posee y opera instalaciones de procesamiento de gas natural y de recolección por tubería en la región de los Apalaches, y también presta servicios de recolección a Seneca Resources Company, LLC. El segmento de Utilidades vende gas natural o presta servicios de transporte de gas natural a aproximadamente 753.000 clientes en Buffalo, Niagara Falls y Jamestown, Nueva York; y Erie y Sharon, Pensilvania. La compañía comercializa gas a clientes industriales, mayoristas, comerciales, de entidades públicas y residenciales, principalmente en el oeste y centro de Nueva York y en el noroeste de Pensilvania.
