National Grid has set the reference price for the scrip dividend of the final dividend 2025/26 at 1,197.70 pence per ordinary share; for ADRs it is $80.5453. The company had announced a final dividend of 32.14 pence per ordinary share and $2.1738 per ADR. Shareholders can make their election for the scrip dividend until 18 June (17:00 BST); ADR holders until 15 June (17:00 EDT); payment is scheduled for 23 July. Requests for grid connections in Great Britain rose, according to Ofgem, to 125 GW in June 2025 within seven months (previously 41 GW in November 2024), with data centres accounting for more than half of applications. National Grid plans to connect about 19 GW of new capacity over five years, far short of the requested demand. Ofgem and network operators want to filter speculative applications and require proof of deliverability and may introduce progress fees, but they also warn that slow connections could push investment abroad. » Más en heise.de
