With effect from 1 August 2026, NewRiver REIT has appointed two women to its board: Sarah Williams will become an independent non-executive director and brings 35 years of experience at Ernst & Young; she is to serve on the audit, remuneration and nomination committees. Edith Monfries will become an executive director; she has been with NewRiver since 2015 and is currently Chief Operating and People Officer. NewRiver REIT reports adjusted operating result (FFO) of £37.2m for the 2026 financial year, up 22% year on year. The company completed a 10% share buyback and recorded an IFRS net profit after tax of £31.7m; the full-year contribution from the acquisition of Capital & Regional and annual net cost synergies of £6.2m were key drivers of the growth. The like-for-like portfolio valuation rose 0.7%, lettings were on average 8.5% above expected rental value (ERV) and 37.3% above the previous rent, while asset disposals were made at book value.
