  • Norwegian Air share falls to 52-week low after significantly larger quarterly loss

Norwegian Air reported an operating loss of NOK 603m for Q2 2026, markedly worse than the NOK 517m analyst estimate commissioned by the company. The share fell about 4.1% to NOK 12.80, a 52-week low. Weighing on results were a Supreme Court ruling on additional ETS liabilities for 2020, high jet fuel costs and an earlier Easter that reduced quarterly demand. Investors now expect updated management guidance on cost control and ETS liabilities for H2 2026. » Más en de.investing.com

  • Norwegian Air achieves operational turnaround in Q1 2026 with record seat load factor

Group revenue rose 5% to NOK 6,904 million, jet fuel costs fell 22% and Program X contributed NOK 196 million to profitability. Liquidity and the balance sheet strengthened significantly (liquidity NOK 14.2 billion, net interest-bearing liabilities NOK 4.4 billion) and a dividend of NOK 0.80 per share was proposed. For 2026 Norwegian expects moderate capacity growth (~3%) and a low single-digit increase in underlying unit costs excluding fuel. » Más en de.investing.com

  • Norwegian Air: operating loss in first quarter significantly lower than expected

Norwegian Air reported an operating loss of NOK 220m for Q1, beating the consensus expectation of NOK 954m. Revenue and earnings topped forecasts, driven by a 13% increase in passenger revenue per available seat kilometer and 11% higher ancillary revenues, as well as a record load factor of 87.6% in the first quarter. Fuel costs and fuel unit costs fell sharply, and the net loss narrowed to NOK 361m. The company confirms its 2026 guidance, expects 3% capacity growth in its main flight operations, has hedged 45% of its jet fuel needs, and raises the target for Program X cost savings to over NOK 1.25bn. » Más en de.investing.com
