Pantheon Resources is changing its financial year-end with immediate effect from 30 June to 31 December to align reporting, planning and tax deadlines in the US and UK with the calendar year. Unaudited half-year figures will be published for the period to 30 June 2026 by 30 September 2026; audited results for the 18-month reporting period to 31 December 2026 are expected to be delivered by 30 June 2027. Management, notably CEO Max Easley and the chairman, is focused on ongoing farm-out negotiations; several interested parties are reviewing data, the process remains complex and may take time. Pantheon Resources announces the resignation of Linda Havard with effect from Wednesday. Havard, who as senior non-executive director chaired the finance, audit and risk committee, will not stand for re-election at the upcoming annual general meeting and will leave the board after two and a quarter years. The chairman praises her contributions to financial governance and the integrity of reporting. Pantheon Resources has begun seismic reprocessing on the northwest part of its Kodiak discovery, updip of the Theta West-1 find, as a precursor to an appraisal well (Theta West-2) that could be drilled in winter 2026/27. Zeus Capital says the appraisal could accelerate farm-out discussions and highlights Kodiak’s estimated ~1.2bn barrels of recoverable liquids and strategic gas potential for Alaska LNG.
