Crown Sigma has reduced its irrevocable commitment to the planned $921 million capital return and on 9 October sold a further 2,685,442 ordinary shares. Crown’s obligation now relates to 5 million shares (approx. 0.46% of issued capital or 2.25% of the free float). Petershill Partners plans a $921m capital return to minority shareholders and a withdrawal from the London Stock Exchange; the offer is 35% above the last closing price. The cash payout comprises 415 cents per share, financed from cash, deferred disposal proceeds and new debt, plus an announced interim dividend of 5.2 cents, bringing the total payout to 420.2 cents per share.
