Polyrizon has finalized agreements with the fourth and fifth clinical centers, thereby contracting all five sites for the first human study of NASARIX (PL-14). The prospective, multicenter, randomized, single‑blind, two‑arm study will treat up to 120 patients with seasonal allergic rhinitis in a 1:1 ratio with either NASARIX or an isotonic saline spray. The European Patent Office has completed the technical preparations to publish Polyrizon’s patent application EP 4751737 for the mucoadhesive "Trap & Target" platform. The technology aims to increase residence time in the nasal cavity and improve drug uptake of intranasally administered medicines.
