Porvair admits 105,218 new ordinary shares to London main market

Porvair has announced the admission of 105,218 newly issued ordinary shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange main market. The shares, with a nominal value of 2 pence, were issued between 30 June 2026 and last week under the existing block listing for the employee share scheme "Save As You Earn". Deutsche Bank has initiated coverage of Porvair with a "Buy" rating and set a price target of 1,050 pence. The bank cites recurring demand in end markets, a disciplined acquisition strategy and high entry barriers from regulation and certifications as drivers of sustainable earnings growth. Porvair posts record first half with 9% revenue growth

Porvair reported first-half revenue of £106.20m, up 9% and the highest level for that period. Adjusted undiluted earnings per share rose 11%. The Metal Melt Quality division grew strongly, supported by the acquisition of Drache and robust demand in aluminium and superalloys; aerospace, nuclear and life sciences also contributed to growth. Adjusted operating profit was £13.80m and adjusted pre-tax profit £13.20m.
