Quest Diagnostics is adding Roche’s FDA‑cleared Elecsys pTau217 blood test to its AD‑Detect portfolio and plans to offer it to physicians and study partners in Q4 2026. At the same time, Quest will launch its own multi‑biomarker test (Aβ42/40, p‑tau217 and ApoE) at the end of August; using mass spectrometry it generates a score to predict Alzheimer’s pathology and showed only a 10% rate of indeterminate results in studies.
