Record falls sharply after weak annual results

Record shares fell 8.7% to 49.5 pence after the annual figures were published and hit a 52-week intraday low of 46.6 pence. Full-year revenue fell to £40.1m (-4%) and net profit attributable to shareholders dropped from £9.7m to £7.7m; earnings per share fell 22% to 3.92 pence. The company cites mandate restructurings and the loss of a major client as reasons, and fee rates are under pressure, even though assets under management grew 14% to $114.6bn. Record appoints Dr. Othman Boukrami to management of subsidiary

Record has appointed Dr. Othman Boukrami to the management and Board of Directors of FCA-regulated subsidiary Record Currency Management Limited (RCML). He has resigned his role as a non-executive director with immediate effect and will assume his new position on 1 December 2025; the appointment is subject to FCA approval. Boukrami was previously CIO and deputy CEO at the Currency Exchange Fund (TCX) and will work with recently appointed Group CIO Andreas Daenzer.
