Renault posts only slight revenue increase in third quarter and confirms full-year guidance

Renault’s revenue rose by just 1.5% in the third quarter to €11.6 billion; for the first nine months the increase was 7.1%. In its automotive business revenues were flat, while vehicle sales fell 6% in the quarter to just under half a million units. Renault cited strong competition and recorded a higher share of private customers in Europe—almost two-thirds—alongside significantly fewer sales to car rental firms.
