Scottish Mortgage will appoint Heather Manners as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the 2026 annual general meeting. Manners brings 34 years of investment experience in Asian markets, was co-founder and long-time CEO/CIO of Prusik Investment Management, and is currently chair of Fidelity Emerging Markets Limited as well as a non-executive director at Montanaro and Collidr. The Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust recorded NAV growth of 22.9% in the six months to 30 September, outperforming the FTSE All-World (15.4%); total share return rose 20.9%. Drivers included AI infrastructure names such as ASML, TSMC and NVIDIA and digital platforms like Roblox, Meta and Spotify. The trust initiated new positions in Figma, AppLovin, Xiaohongshu, CATL and Anthropic and reduced holdings in Amazon, Roblox, Spotify, Meta, Netflix, Tempus AI, MercadoLibre and Shopify.
