Richard Oldfield will step down as chairman and director after the annual general meeting on 30 October 2026. Jonathan Neame will become executive chairman, CFO Mark Rider will become managing director and will continue to run the finance function until a new finance director is appointed (by the end of the 2027 financial year). Shepherd Neame expects full-year results in line with its forecast, reports like-for-like sales increases of 3.8% in its pubs (52 weeks to 27 June 2026) and 2.7% in its tenanted businesses, while total beer sales volume fell by 5.4%; in the three weeks to 18 July retail like-for-like was +4.3%.
