Signify falls to 52-week low after disappointing quarterly results

The Signify share fell 3.0% to €15.48 and hit a new annual low after significantly weaker Q2 and H1 figures. The adjusted EBITA margin dropped to 6.1% (prior year 7.8%), comparable revenue growth worsened to -3.6% and net profit plunged from €57m to €17m. A €31m restructuring charge weighed on results; adjusted EBITA was roughly 4% below consensus estimates. Signify shares plunge nearly 18% after dividend cut

At its capital markets day, Signify lowered its dividend guidance and plans a lower payout ratio from regular earnings, which is below analyst and market expectations. Its medium-term targets through 2029 are above the market consensus, but the more cautious dividend policy disappointed investors. Signify CEO Tempelman launches restructuring with 900 job cuts and portfolio review

As the new CEO of Signify, Tempelman has initiated a restructuring: 900 positions are to be cut and €180 million in recurring costs will be saved after sales fell for the third consecutive year in 2025. Management is reviewing products and countries, plans to exit non-competitive areas and intends targeted investments, especially in Germany.
