Six Flags moves corporate headquarters to Arlington, Texas in 2027
Six Flags will relocate its corporate headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Arlington, Texas, in 2027, consolidating leadership and central functions at the existing Choctaw Stadium site. The transition is expected to be complete by March 2027; Arlington is close to five of the company’s Texas locations. Six Flags says the move will improve operational efficiency and bring executives closer to park operations. The company operates 34 parks and nine resorts in North America and will maintain a presence in Charlotte (investments in Carowinds and Carolina Harbor) as well as an office in Sandusky, Ohio. » Más en de.investing.com
Six Flags appoints Ash Walia as chief financial officer
Six Flags has appointed Ash Walia as chief financial officer, effective June 17. Walia brings more than 20 years of financial and leadership experience across industries such as retail and consumer goods, most recently serving as CFO of Hot Topic, and will lead the company through performance improvements and transformations, CEO John Reilly said. The appointment comes against a backdrop of financial challenges for Six Flags (a loss of $16.32 per share over the past 12 months), while the stock is up 35% over six months; analysts expect a return to profitability this year. Interim CFO Dave Hoffman will return to the role of chief accounting officer. » Más en de.investing.com
Restructuring at Six Flags: board reduced, John Reilly to become CEO
Six Flags announced the resignation of Louis Carr effective December 24, 2025; following previously announced departures of Selim Bassoul and Daniel Hanrahan, the board will shrink to ten members on January 1, 2026. John Reilly will become president and CEO effective December 8, 2025, succeeding Richard A. Zimmerman. UBS affirms a buy rating but cuts its price target from $34 to $27, citing revenue losses of $115–125 million and a material EBITDA downside risk due to weaker park performance. Moody’s downgraded Six Flags’ ratings after the merger with Cedar Fair (corporate family rating from Ba3 to B2, liquidity rating to SGL-3). » Más en de.investing.com
