Sopra Steria, via its subsidiary CIMPA, has completed the acquisition of Digital Product Simulation and will consolidate the company as of Saturday. Digital Product Simulation brings more than 115 engineers and IFRS revenue of around €12m (2025), as well as expertise in simulation and Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Sopra Steria has launched a share buyback program worth €40 million and appointed an independent securities service provider to execute it. The company intends to cancel the shares acquired under the program. The buyback authorization was granted by the general meeting on 20 May 2026 and allows purchases of up to 10% of the share capital. Sopra Steria has cancelled 858,163 shares repurchased between October 2024 and January 2025, representing 4.18% of share capital; the shares were acquired at an average price of €174.792 each (approximately €150 million in total). The board intends to propose a new share buyback programme for 2026 of up to €40 million, to be voted on at the annual general meeting on 20 May 2026; these shares are also to be cancelled after acquisition.
