Talanx achieved a net profit of €1.499 billion in the first half, the highest half‑year result in the company's history, and its share price, buoyed by gains, moved close to the 52‑week high. CEO Torsten Leue is now targeting a group result “well above €2.7 billion,” but CFO Jan Wicke explicitly cautions against premature expectations of a €2.8 billion figure and says more precise guidance will be provided in the autumn.
