Tempest Therapeutics is partnering with Hebei Senlang to develop the in‑vivo CAR‑T candidate TPST‑4003 and has initiated an investigator‑led study in China enrolling around 10 patients with myasthenia gravis or multiple sclerosis. TPST‑4003 combines a CD7‑directed mRNA/LNP delivery with a dual CAR construct targeting CD19 and BCMA and is being developed for autoimmune and oncological indications. Senlang is coordinating the study in China and has an exclusive option for a licensing agreement for TPST‑4003 in China. Tempest Therapeutics has appointed Drake Richey and Dr. John Yee, MD, as independent members of its board of directors with immediate effect. Richey is listed as president of Bush & Company and brings experience from Wells Fargo and Fitch Ratings. Yee joins from Apnimed and has extensive leadership and medical-affairs experience at multiple biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and holds an MD and an MPH from Harvard.
