Contract manufacturer TSMC reports a net profit increase of 69 percent to about €21.02 billion and a revenue jump of 50 percent to €41.66 billion. Because of strong demand for AI processors the company is reaching capacity limits and plans ongoing investments of €52–56 billion as well as around $265 billion mid‑term in new U.S. plants, including major projects in Arizona and possible additional facilities in Texas.
