Vontobel reports net new money inflows of CHF 1.9 billion for the first nine months of 2026, after CHF 3.2 billion in the year-earlier period and well below the AWP consensus of CHF 3.5 billion. Assets under management rose slightly to CHF 255.1 billion, supported by new money, positive currency effects and strong market performance. Rising demand from AI data centers and the shift to 800G/1.6T standards favor manufacturers such as Lumentum, Fujikura and Applied Optoelectronics, but also bring supply-chain risks and customer concentration.
