Yancoal achieved an attributable saleable coal production of 19.8 million tonnes in H1 2026 (a record), revenue up 13% to AUD 3.01 billion and operating EBITDA of AUD 767 million (+29%) with a margin of 24%. Operating cash costs remained at AUD 96/t despite higher diesel prices. The company closed June with AUD 2.1 billion in cash and no external debt. Non-operating charges (including the reversal of hedges and impairments) reduced reported profit sharply to AUD 17 million after tax.
