Leapmotor recorded revenue growth of 57.2% to 38.11 billion CNY in the first half of 2026 and increased deliveries by 60.8% to 356,000 units; exports rose 72% to 96,294 vehicles. Data from the Ministry for the Environment show that Leapmotor is currently in 7th place for approved e-car subsidies, thus ranking ahead of the Volkswagen brand. Of roughly 3,100 Leapmotor vehicles sold in Germany, 613 received support, while Volkswagen — despite more than 40,000 electric sales — had only 593 subsidy applications approved. In total, €53.9 million had been paid out from the €3 billion fund by the end of June.
