Zip falls after profit-taking despite strong FY26 results

Zip shares fell 8.5% to A$2.79 on Friday after having jumped almost 19% the previous day following the release of FY26 figures. For FY26 Zip reported a record cash EBTDA of A$268.9m (+57.9%) and a statutory net profit after tax of A$116.4m (+45.7%), driven by a strong US BNPL business. Zip reports record 2026 result and stock rises sharply

Zip reported a record cash EBITDA of AUD 269 million for fiscal 2026 (+58%), a statutory net profit after tax of AUD 116 million (+46%) and an operating margin of 20%. Total transaction volume rose to AUD 16.7 billion, US TTV grew 42.5% to USD 8.6 billion and US revenue was USD 613 million (up more than 44%).
