Aareal Bank confirms annual forecast after solid first half of 2026
Aareal Bank reported an adjusted operating result of €208 million in H1 2026 and is on track for its full-year target of around €400 million. Net interest income rose to €474 million, adjusted administrative expenses fell 4% to €255 million, improving the cost-income ratio to 31%. The common equity tier 1 ratio (CET1) stands at 15.6%; management remains cautious due to geopolitical risks and US real estate markets.
