Adecoagro has completed the cash acquisition of the Caarapó mill from the Raízen group for R$705 million (about $136 million). Adecoagro reached an agreement with the Raízen group to buy the Caarapó mill in Mato Grosso do Sul for about 760 million R$ (around 148 million USD). The transaction includes sugarcane plantations and existing supply contracts; in the 2025/26 season the mill processed about 3.5 million tonnes of sugarcane and can produce sugar, hydrous/anhydrous ethanol and renewable energy.
