At a Morgan Stanley conference, Disc Medicine pointed to several upcoming milestones: Phase III data for bitopertin (APOLLO) in EPP are expected in Q4 2024. The company reports cash and equivalents of $780 million and sees a financing runway through 2029. DISC-0974 showed consistent response rates in myelofibrosis-associated anemia; an end-of-phase-II meeting with the FDA is still planned for 2024. Disc Medicine presented initial data from the Phase‑2 study RESTORE‑PV: DISC‑3405 increased hepcidin, lowered serum iron and reduced the need for phlebotomies in patients with polycythaemia vera. In cohort A (300 mg every two weeks) the average number of phlebotomies over 26 weeks fell from 4.0 to 0.6; 61.5% remained apheresis‑free for 26 weeks, and hematocrit stayed below 45% through week 26. DISC‑3405 was overall well tolerated, with mostly mild, self‑limiting injection reactions.
