  • Netherlands halve state stake in ABN Amro

State holding company NLFI plans to reduce its stake in ABN Amro from 20.7 to 10.5 percent via a trading plan, bringing full privatization closer. The announcement weighed slightly on the stock after it had gained around 40 percent year-to-date. The state’s gradual withdrawal fuels speculation about possible takeover interest from other banks. » Plus sur handelsblatt.com
