ACS delivers strong Q1 with record order backlog, shares drop 5.16%
The ACS Group reports Q1 2026 revenue growth of 12.5% to €12.3bn and EBITDA of €772m (+16%), along with an operating net profit of €239m (+25%) and operating net cash flow of €2.3bn. The order backlog rose to a record €99.8bn (+16.1%), supported by growth in North America and investments in data centers and infrastructure. ACS shares under pressure after disappointing result from Dragados unit
ACS shares fell about 2% ahead of the capital markets day after the Dragados unit's operating result in the third quarter missed consensus expectations. ACS subsidiary Hochtief, by contrast, showed moderate outperformance in revenue and earnings. ACS in talks to sell 50% of digital division to BlackRock unit GIP for about €1 billion
Spanish builder ACS is close to a deal in which Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a BlackRock unit, would acquire a 50% stake in the Digital & Energia division for roughly €1 billion. The planned partnership includes total investments of €23 billion (€5 billion equity, €18 billion debt), but a precise timetable is still missing.
