ADX Energy drills for gas off Sicily and sees large production potential

ADX Energy has been awarded a licence for a large gas field southwest of Sicily and plans appraisal drilling there, since Italy currently allows faster permitting procedures than Austria. The company expects that modern seismic methods and the shallow seabed could reveal larger gas deposits that could theoretically deliver substantial volumes of gas.
