AFC Energy to be renamed H-Power and changes market ticker to HPOW

AFC Energy has changed its registered company name to H-Power after shareholders approved the rename on 16 April 2026 and Companies House issued the certificate. Trading on the AIM will commence under the new name from Wednesday at 08:00 with the new ticker HPOW; ISIN and LEI remain unchanged. Existing shareholders are unaffected and share certificates remain valid. AFC Energy receives approval to sell hydrogen from pilot plant

The UK environmental regulator has granted AFC Energy permission to export and sell low‑carbon hydrogen from its ammonia‑cracking pilot plant in Dunsfold. The plant can currently produce up to 300 kg of hydrogen per day; the hydrogen meets ISO 14687 grade D (99.97% purity). The regulatory extension is intended to bring forward revenue from hydrogen production by several months. AFC Energy is working with joint‑venture partner Industrial Chemicals Group Ltd (ICL) to build larger Hy‑5 units in Port Clarence and is seeking accelerated approval processes for deploying additional units in the UK. » Plus sur de.investing.com
CTO of AFC Energy to chair new UK Ammonia Alliance

AFC Energy announced that CTO Dr. Mike Rendall has been appointed founding chair of the UK Ammonia Alliance. The alliance of eleven founding members aims to accelerate growth of the UK ammonia industry and drive adoption of low‑carbon ammonia solutions. In November the UKAA will present a strategy paper in Parliament outlining steps to use ammonia as a hydrogen carrier and as a sustainable fuel option.
