Aston Martin shares rise after revenue jump and confirmed guidance
Aston Martin reported a 62% revenue increase in Q2 to £358.2m and reduced its adjusted operating loss to £52m. Aston Martin strengthens balance sheet with £550 million debt financing
Aston Martin has agreed a £550 million debt financing package, consisting of a £450 million senior secured loan and a £100 million delayed draw term loan. The financing carries a rate of 6.75% over SONIA and runs to July 2031; lead lenders are funds managed by HPS Investment Partners. The company can additionally raise up to £100 million of subordinated debt; gross proceeds were used to repay revolving facilities and cover transaction costs. Aston Martin shareholders at the annual general meeting approved all 27 resolutions put to a vote. The virtual meeting recorded a turnout of 76.36% of the share capital. Approved were, among others, the 2025 financial statements (99.96%), the remuneration report (96.63%), retention bonuses for the CEO and CFO (96.07%), the re‑ and new elections to the board of directors and the reappointment of Ernst & Young as auditor (97.63%).
