Beamr partners with VAST Data for AI-powered video workflows

Beamr becomes a technology partner of VAST Data and will present at IBC 2026 a workflow that combines the VAST AI Operating System, NVIDIA Video Super Resolution and Beamr’s content-adaptive bitrate technology. The solution upscales archive content to 1080p/4K, modernizes libraries to HEVC or AV1, reduces storage and delivery costs, and runs on NVIDIA RTX PRO GPUs in cloud or on-prem environments. Beamr Imaging reports revenue decline in first half of 2026

Beamr Imaging reported preliminary revenues of around $0.9 million for H1 2026 versus $1.07 million in the prior year and held cash and cash equivalents of about $7.7 million as of June 30. The preliminary figures are unaudited and subject to the quarterly audit. The company has shifted its strategic focus to video compression for autonomous vehicles and the physical AI market, introduced the product "Beamr Blueprint" and is expanding partnerships for market integration. Beamr launches Blueprint consulting service for video compression in autonomous vehicles

Beamr has launched Beamr Blueprint, a consulting service that helps autonomous driving teams implement and validate video compression solutions across the entire data pipeline. A global program has already begun an initial Blueprint project; the service tests compression on customer data and models to identify potential savings without affecting model accuracy.
