BioAge has dosed the first participant in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled phase‑2 dose-finding study of the oral NLRP3 inhibitor BGE-102. The QUELL-CV study aims to determine the optimal dose for phase‑3 development in participants with increased cardiovascular risk; topline data are expected in the second half of 2026. BGE-102 was developed from a compound identified using HitGen’s DNA-Encoded-Library (DEL) technology platform; phase‑1 data showed a reduction in high-sensitivity CRP.
