The Düsseldorf public prosecutor has been investigating since 2024 alleged asset transfers in favor of Uwe Reppegather related to the Berlin project Landsberger Allee 50–52. Documents show that a Centrum subsidiary at the end of 2022 paid several loans to Reppegather totaling several million euros—some at 25 percent interest, but without collateral. After the Centrum group’s insolvency in 2023, these claims were later transferred well below nominal value to MiHo Vermögensverwaltung, which thereby gained influence in the insolvency proceedings.
