CLP Holdings posts profit rise in H1 2026, stock little changed

CLP Holdings reported a 10% rise in operating profit before fair-value adjustments to HKD 5.7 billion for H1 2026, an EBITDAF of HKD 13.6 billion (+9%) and a total profit of just under HKD 6.0 billion (+7%). Drivers included higher investment and lower financing costs in Hong Kong, as well as improved contributions from Australia and India; the sale of the Zhuzhou coal plant and portfolio repositioning also supported results. The company is focused on long-term infrastructure investment, plans decarbonization projects such as a CO₂-free terminal in Tseung Kwan O, and sees short-term risks from curtailment in China and pressure on Australian wholesale prices. CLP pays 3.20 HKD dividend for 2025

At the annual general meeting on 08 May 2026, CLP approved a dividend of 3.20 HKD for the 2025 financial year, up from 3.15 HKD the previous year.
