Comcast says Xfinity WiFi Motion stores a week of motion logs and may be disclosed if legally compelled

Comcast confirms its opt-in Xfinity WiFi Motion feature records motion activity in the Xfinity app for up to seven days and can include which Wi‑Fi device detected movement. The system does not capture images, video, or audio and Comcast says it does not monitor motion in real time, but it may be required to disclose the stored motion data in response to lawful legal process.
