Discovery Metals increases Q1 2026 revenue by 4% thanks to high gold price

Discovery Metals reports Q1 2026 revenue of $285 million (+4% vs. Q4 2025), EBITDA of $178 million (+41%) and net income of $81.7 million (+25%). Earnings per share remained at $0.10, cash costs rose to $1,417/oz and AISC stood at $2,041/oz. The company announced the acquisition of the Kidd operation to expand processing capacity and expects EPS of $0.41 and $0.53 for 2026/2027 and revenues of about $1.30 billion and $1.37 billion, respectively.
