Ensysce Biosciences faces NASDAQ delisting threat after falling below minimum equity requirement
Ensysce Biosciences received a deficiency notice from NASDAQ because the stockholders' equity reported as of March 31, 2026, did not meet the required $2.5 million threshold. The company has until July 6, 2026, to submit a plan to regain compliance; if accepted, an extension of up to 180 days may be granted. Ensysce is evaluating options to restore compliance, but there is no guarantee the plan will be accepted or successfully implemented. Separately, Ensysce reported a Taiwanese patent valid through 2042, IRB approval for Part 3 of a study, a $2 million financing tranche, and the resignation of Curtis Rosebraugh from the board of directors. » Plus sur de.investing.com
Ensysce receives Taiwanese patent for MPAR technology to protect against overdose
The Taiwanese Patent Office has granted Ensysce a patent for the MPAR technology, providing protection through 2042 and complementing a recently issued US patent. MPAR, classified by the FDA as a Breakthrough Therapy, is designed to dampen opioid release in the event of an overdose; clinical data with PF614‑MPAR show pain relief while limiting excessive opioid release. Ensysce is expanding the technology to other drug classes (including amphetamines and methadone) and receives research funding from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, while the company—despite a positive cash position—has high cash burn and its stock has fallen sharply year‑over‑year. » Plus sur de.investing.com
