Goldgroup Mining starts 24,000m drilling to prepare San Francisco restart
Goldgroup Mining has launched a 24,000m diamond core drilling programme at its wholly owned San Francisco project in Sonora to update the resource model, optimise the mine plan and gather structural and technical data ahead of a planned restart. The campaign, funded internally with an $8m budget, is due to finish in Q3 2026 and supports a targeted production restart at the end of 2026 or early 2027.
