Huber+Suhner is buying the Connected-Intelligence business from Motion Applied, thereby expanding its rail-communications offering to include software. Huber+Suhner confirmed its 2026 targets and presented a strategy focused on industry, communication and transport. The company named aerospace/defence, data centers, rail communications and electric vehicles as strategic growth areas, each with annual revenue potential of over 100 million Swiss francs and expected average growth rates of more than 10%. Particular emphasis is on the data center business: capacities have been significantly expanded, production and storage space quadrupled, and automation lines commissioned in Pisary. Huber+Suhner reported a record order intake of CHF 548m and an order backlog of CHF 517m for the first half of 2026, while net sales rose to CHF 457m.
