Strong half-year results drive IMI shares to 3,048 pence

IMI rose about 3.5% to 3,048 pence after publishing half-year results for the period to 30 June 2026. IMI Automation delivered organic revenue growth of 6% in the first quarter; the company confirms adjusted earnings per share of 136–142 pence for the full year, depending on planned deliveries to the Middle East. IMI starts second tranche of £500m share buyback programme

IMI has appointed Deutsche Bank, London branch (acting as Deutsche Numis), to execute the second tranche of its up to £500 million share buyback programme, in the amount of £250 million. The second tranche begins after completion of the first £250 million tranche, which was announced on 9 March 2026. The programme is to be completed by 31 December 2026 at the latest and is in line with the UK Listing Rules and the shareholders’ authorisation that limits the buyback to just under 10% of the issued ordinary share capital. » Plus sur de.investing.com
IMI plc reports strong organic growth in Q1 and confirms EPS guidance

IMI plc recorded organic revenue growth across all divisions in the first quarter of 2026 and, despite disruptions in the Middle East, shipped goods worth £35 million.
