James Cropper has agreed a new factoring facility of up to £15m with a minimum three‑year term to fund working capital and will use this facility and cash resources to repay £7.1m of an existing UK bank loan. The remaining loan will be repaid in reduced quarterly instalments through March 2030, and the US bank loan has been extended by 12 months (final instalment of $3.2m in Dec. 2027). The company will make a one‑off £0.6m payment into performance‑related pension plans, adjust the contribution schedule and bring forward the next actuarial valuation to March 2027. James Cropper is working with Hexcel as part of the European Composites Circular Alliance to develop composite materials from recycled carbon fibers for aerospace, automotive and mobility applications.
