  • Jungfraubahn Holding: visitor numbers down 5.7% through April, Jungfraujoch down 12.3%

The Jungfraubahn Group reports a 5.7% decline in footfall for January–April 2026 versus the previous year. Jungfraujoch recorded a drop of 12.3%, Erlebnisberge minus 9.6% and the winter sports segment with ski visits minus 3.3%. According to the statement, the causes are hostilities in the Middle East with airspace restrictions, higher jet fuel prices and weakening demand from Asia; however, the booking outlook for the coming months remains good. Depending on the duration of the conflict, these effects could weigh on 2026 results; a first interim assessment will follow in the half-year report at the end of August. » Plus sur finanzen.net
