KeyCorp reaffirmed its 2026 outlook, citing constructive client activity, commercial loan growth near the high end of its 4%–5% target and improving credit quality. KeyCorp emphasizes growth and margin expansion at Barclays conference

At the Barclays Global Financial Services Conference, KeyCorp highlighted its strategy to expand net interest margin, invest in technology and AI, and grow fee income. The bank confirmed its annual net interest income guidance (9–11%) and is targeting a core net interest margin of 3.00–3.05% for 2026 and above 3.25% for 2027. Commercial loan growth (C&I 8–10%), deposit gains and higher investment banking fees are expected to support revenue and returns, while nonperforming assets in some sectors and rising refinancing costs were cited as risks.
