Ennoconn fails to secure majority at Kontron – stock reacts only slightly

Foxconn subsidiary Ennoconn acquired 48.36% of Kontron, missing a majority; no further increase in the stake is planned. Ennoconn had made a mandatory offer of €23.50 per share, which Kontron shareholders rejected by majority. Kontron intends to continue management and strategy, expand its margin-strong software-and-solutions segment and carry out a restructuring at Greentec with around 500 job cuts, which is expected to yield annual savings of over €30 million from 2027.
